AAIA announces World Class Technician Award winners
BETHESDA, M.D. – Of the more than 850,000 automotive technicians working in the United States, 17 individuals have qualified for the AAIA World Class Technician Award. Each of these professional technicians tested and obtained ASE certification in 22 specialty areas during the 2008 test administrated by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.
The 17 World Class Technicians are:

- Michael J. Geiger, Las Vegas, Nev.
- Timothy A. Hays, Baldwin City, Kan.
- Christopher A. Isaacs, Lowell, Ind.
- Eric Keller, Mount Laurel, N.J.
- Peter W. Lehman, Mount Laurel, N.J.
- Michael J. Macik, Mount Laurel, N.J.
- Paul R. Orwal, Menomonee Falls, Wis.
- Steven W. Patterson, Mount Laurel, N.J.
- Peter M. Raucci, Rolling Meadows, Ill.
- Timothy P. Stachelrodt, Phillipsburg, N.J.
- Bryan D. Terpstra, Cambria, Wis.
- Eric W. Walker, Swiftwater, Pa.
- Robert P. Weinand, Mount Laurel, N.J.
For the first time ever, 10 of the 17 World Class Technicians all work at the same service and repair business, Automotive Resources Inc. (ARI), in Mount Laurel, N.J.
